Favourite actors: I prefer the 'method' school of acting including Marlon Brando, Paul Newman, James Dean, Elvis. This type of acting is not 'word perfect' and is as real life.

1950s Rock n Roll; 1960s music.
Favourite singers/groups: Elvis, Roy Orbison, Billy Fury, Eddie Cochran, Buddy Holly,Gene Vincent, The Shadows, The Beatles, Dido, Terence Trent Darby.
I rarely like modern music apart from an occasional song that will catch my attention.

I have never read novels as they dont hold my interest, I have always preferred reference books, especially encyclopeadias when I was younger. I have read several books on growing dahlias helping me to determine and become confident in my own growing methods.

People who dont take themselves too seriously.
People who have respect for others.
My wife, my children, my grandson all mean so much to me. I am a family man through and through.
Showing my dahlias and talking about my chosen favourite flower especially at the CDS and WCDC meetings or top County Shows.

Rude and unmannerly people.
People who use their work status to treat others unjustly and unfairly.

I am a born and bred Cornishman and proud to be so. I am married with 3 grown up children and 1 grandson. I work full time for local government in my home County. My hobby is growing and exhibiting dahlias and I have my own website all about growing and showing them called Pauls Dahlia Guide. I came onto the PlanetLive site about late July 2009. I have joined to have a chat with anyone, and a laugh. I am a good listener readily offering advice in a truthful and honest manner. I consider I have a good sometimes childish sense of humour.
